Food was alright. Try their Fried Hor Fun, quite unusual. Love the environment. Dine next to the river and watching huge monitor lizards swimming around. Quite charming.

Visited this store specifically for the Fried Hor Fun. Really like it. You have to let the sauce get all over the Koay Teow. Oyster egg was very fragrant, not the starchy kind, full of egg and seafood of choice. Price is not great considering the location.

Kedai Kopi Lok Khoon is a well-known food spot in Penang, particularly famous for its fried oyster (oh chien in Hokkien). This dish typically consists of small, fresh oysters fried with a batter made of eggs and tapioca starch, creating a crispy and savory omelet-like dish. The addition of chili sauce on the side complements the flavors. Kedai Kopi Lok Khoon is one of the many local eateries in Penang that offer authentic and delicious street food, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

Unusual crispy Char Hor Fun. Missing wok hei but the dish was balanced and the crispy bits gave a nice texture difference. Saw some people asking for the crispy pieces to be set aside so they weren’t drenched by the sauce. Prices were good too. Parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Village environment and atmosphere. Foods are very good and nice. Prices are reasonabl. Recommend to eat oyster omelette and fried Char Ho Fun noodles.

First time stop over here while visiting Balik Pulau and after searching Google maps and recommendations. Came here purely for food and experience so not giving a lot of expectations. But surprisingly the food is very good and unique especially the fried ho fun with shark fin and crab meat. Very flavorful and tasty. The portion is good for 3 persons with price RM25. Have never tasted this kind of fried noodles back in KL. The fried omelette oysters also very good. Very satisfied with the food quality. The price is also very reasonable. The restaurant located within the small stretch of a small fisherman's village just along the river mouth to the sea. The people there are friendly when serving us. You must spend time exploring this part of the Balik Pulau area, only then you can enjoy the occasion.

Fried Hor Fun some special crispy is not mix with sauce, mix up has great taste Deep fried chicken wing best with marinated. Iced local coffee have great taste. Squid with vegetables normal. NON-HALAL Not plenty parking lot Environment open air Price bit expensive
